The MG Ecosystem

All resources, in alphabetical order:

• AccessRem

  Remote access for anyone, driven by screen reader users. A standalone NVDA Remote Access client for Windows with a bundled NVDA backend, so you can control another computer or let someone help you on yours.

• AudioNet

  Low-latency, encrypted live audio between computers, phones and browsers. Send a PC's system audio to your phone, a microphone to another room, or one app's sound to a browser tab. Every part is designed to be fully usable with a screen reader.

• Audiopub

  An open audio sharing platform. Upload and listen to recordings, browse what others have shared, and follow live audio streams.

• ipsw installer

  Installs or updates the ipsw command-line tool for working with Apple firmware, straight from its latest release. On macOS or Linux, run curl -fsSL https://ipsw.mad-gamer.com | sh

• MG Account

  One account for MG services such as MG Feeds. Create an account, change your password, and manage how you sign in.

• MG Feeds

  A fast, keyboard-friendly RSS and news feed reader. Follow websites, blogs and podcasts in one place. Sign in with your MG Account.

• MG FileShare

  Upload a file and send the private link to anyone, with no account needed. Links can expire, and files can delete themselves after the first download. There is also an API for scripts.

• MG Mastodon

  The MG community's Mastodon server, part of the wider fediverse. Post, follow people on any Mastodon server, and use the accessible app of your choice. New accounts are approved by hand.

• MG Notify

  Push notifications from anything. Send a notification to your iPhone, Android phone or browser from a script, program, server or email, using one web address.

• MG Share

  A link shortener with optional custom names and passwords. Links delete themselves after their first use unless you make them permanent, and there is an API for scripts.

• MG Storage

  A free download library: NVDA add-ons and files, NVGT scripts, FastSM sound packs, Backtalk themes, Sound Manager schemes, soundfonts, TTCom sounds and texts, audio and more.

• MG Vibes

  The MG internet radio station, playing around the clock. Listen in your browser, or open the stream in a player such as VLC.

• Network Info

  See your public IP address, hostname, internet provider and approximate location, each with a button to copy it. Handy when someone asks for your IP address or when troubleshooting a connection.

• NVDA Remote Web

  Control a Windows computer running NVDA from your web browser. You hear the remote computer's speech and sounds, and your keyboard controls it, with nothing to install.

• Password Generator

  Create a strong random password. Choose the length, and whether to include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits and punctuation.

• Serial Number Copier

  Copies your Windows PC's serial number to the clipboard, ready to paste into a support form or warranty check. Run it from Windows PowerShell: irm https://serial.mad-gamer.com | iex

• STAR Coagulator

  A hub for STAR that brings together text-to-speech voices shared by connected computers. Try any voice in your browser, download the speech as audio, or use the simple API to list voices and synthesize text.

• TeamTalk Generator

  Quickly create TeamTalk server links or .tt configuration files that include all the server settings, so others can join your server in one step.

• tt installer

  Installs the tt TeamTalk tools from dlee.org into /usr/local/bin on Linux. Run it as root: curl -fsSL https://tt.mad-gamer.com | sudo bash

• YouTube Downloader

  Paste a YouTube link and download it as an MP3 audio file or an MP4 video.
